Does my footage get uploaded to the cloud?

No. BRAWRecovery uses a hybrid-local engine. Only a few kilobytes of structural metadata (the "file envelope") are sent to our server for repair. Your actual video pixels and audio never leave your machine.

Which Blackmagic cameras are supported?

BRAWRecovery supports all cameras and devices that shoot Blackmagic RAW, including Pocket Cinema Camera 4K/6K/6K Pro, URSA Mini Pro G2/12K, PYXIS, Micro Studio Camera 4K G2, Video Assist recorders, and any third-party recorder or monitor that outputs .braw files.

What types of BRAW corruption can be fixed?

We fix "Media Offline" errors in DaVinci Resolve, truncated files from dead batteries, dropped camera writes, premature card ejections, SSD disconnections, power failures, and missing or damaged moov atoms (file index).

Do I need a reference file?

Yes. You need a healthy .braw clip shot with the same camera, resolution, codec settings (compression ratio), and frame rate as the corrupted file. This reference lets the tool rebuild the broken file structure accurately.
